We had snow today!

Today started out as a beautiful day- true, it was cold, but lovely and sunny.
Then the sun left us and the sky turned overcast. Soon it started raining.
By 11.00 it was snowing! It didn't settle unfortunately, but it was pretty
to watch. I didn't get any photos because they rarely turn out.
So here is a pic that I took last time it snowed. :) Once again, not very
good, but I don't like picture-less posts. :P

Oh! I nearly forgot! We girls have started Highland dancing!
We have had 3 lessons now, and have nearly finished learning
the Highland Fling. And guess what! There is to be an End-of-Year
concert in 5 weeks, and we are going to be in it! Very exciting
because I didn't think that we could be in it since we started so late, and now
we are going to be in 2 dances! We are dancing like mad to be ready in 5 weeks.
Can't wait. :)

At long last...

Well, it has taken me awhile to get this post together! Too many photos,
like usual. :) Well, on Tuesday we went to the 'Don River Railway' and
had a ride on an old train. It was a bit disappointing that our half hour
ride was 15 minutes waiting while people walked on the beach!
We weren't told that there was time to do that, so we sat in our seats
wondering what was happening! Anyway, we got some nice photos. :)

On the Wednesday we went the Gunns Plains Caves. It was very interesting,
even though I have been there before. :) My favourite is the 'Wedding Cake'.
I (unfortunately) didn't get many nice pics. Only this passable one of the 'Wedding Cake'.

On Friday we went to Cataract Gorge at Launceston. We went for a
nice long walk and had a ride on the chairlift. I got lots of photos.

Waiting for the chairlift.

I liked this shelter, so I photographed it. :)

We went to Tasmazia last Saturday, before Aunty Lea, Uncle Dan and the kids
left to go back to Melbourne. We had a great time running around the mazes
looking at the cute houses in the 'Village of Lower Crackpot'. There are heaps of signs
throughout the 'Great Maze', and some of them are quite funny.
The unlucky witch.
Beth was feeling quite old...

The last few days have been busy!

Aunty Lea, Uncle Dan, Katelyn and Zac are down from Qld!
We are having a great time with them. :)

They arrived early on Saturday morning, and we went to
Sheffield to have lunch and play at the park.

There are so many beautiful old stone houses in Sheffield!

Sheffield is 'The Town of Murals'...

"The Chessboard of Life"

And on Sunday we went to Stanley and climbed the Nut.
Boy, it was steep! It was easier sprinting for a bit, then resting,
but not much could stop the burn in your legs pushing the pram up!
I got a few photos of us climbing up, but Mum and Aunty Lea
would not be very happy with me if I posted them!
I investigated a small cemetery after lunch and found this
beautiful cross...

The beautiful scenery on the way up the Nut

And the big drop

A nice pic of Dad and James ( They have matching dimples!!)

The Nut... and we climbed up that!!!

And today is Bethany's 12th birthday! We went into Penguin
to have lunch and play at the park. The weather turned bad
so we raced back home and the girls have been painting all afternoon.

Baby had fun at the park!

Happy Birthday Beth!
